HEALTH COMMISSION'S
PROGRAMME.
LECTURES ILLUSTRATED BY CINEMA FILMS
It is the intention of the Eastern Com- mission of the British National Coun‹ ?! for Combating Venereal Diseases-Mrs. Neville Rolfe and Dr. Rupert Hallam- which is now in the Colony, to hold meet- ings throughout this week in continuation of its plan to show what development the mprement has made throughout the world, and to discuss the problem with those who have to do with the health of the Colony- doctors, nurses, chemists and others-and those who have particularly to deal with the prevention diseases-heads of schools, parents, officials, and police.

The educational aspect of the question consists of series of lectures illustrated by cinema filme on this particular branch of health, and these will take place at the Banitary Board office this evening, at 6 P.m., and on Wednesday, January 6th, Friday, January 7th, and Monday, Janu ary 10th, at 6 p.m. to which invitations have beer circulated by the Hon. the Director of Education.

has been invited by the Headmaster of the Kowloon British School, to addreas & meeting of parents in the schoolroom on Thursday, January 6th, et 6 p.m.
The object of these meetings is to cutline
a policy for the prevention of as well as a cure for the diseases engaging the Com- mission's attention, to spread that knowledge in the hope that it might lead to a real reduction in their incidence, and it is the Commission's aim to stimulate all the social institutions in the Colony into activity towards the end.
